On-Ship Measuring - Sea Legs Required

A leading Oil Industry Research Company required Apex to set-up and provide alignment data for a large Sub-Sea Vessel.

The project involved taking portable measuring equipment aboard the ship and measuring dimensions followed by verifying the subsequent alignments prior to the equipment being accepted by our clients customer.

The weather was typically British with sunshine in the morning but light showers appearing in the afternoon, luckily there was a canopy over the area of work.

This was a pioneering exercise for the client and should result in more of the same and possibly longer term investment in similar equipment.
